A design course taught to 2nd year communication design students — Introduction to Graphic design and Typography.  As a component of the course, I had introduced Devanagari and Latin Type Anatomy to students. On the predefined parameters (3D, 2D, Skeleton, Weight and Terminals), they designed the letterforms in Indic script character which was given as a sample character. The exercise helped them to revise the anatomy, terminology of the complex scripts also enables them to understand Type parameters more efficiently. This class came up with interesting visual type outcomes across the varied Indic scripts.
